Traffic Operation in your local area!

Good afternoon and Happy New Year!

I wanted to send my first message of the new year to you, which regards an update on a recent Traffic Event we conducted on Deane Road this morning. The event was intended to stop vehicles from conducting document checks and issuing traffic offence reports in the form of tickets for those drivers who did not abide by the highway code. 

Within the first hour, your local neighbourhood team stopped a total of 20 cars and issued 5 tickets. One of these was for a driver using their mobile phone while driving, and the remaining four were due to drivers not wearing seatbelts. 

Your local neighbourhood team will continue to patrol the roads in an attempt to counter poor driving standards and enforce proactive policing. Please remember to drive carefully on the roads.
